Disaster Preparedness
Disasters are serious and should be prepared for ahead of time. Being prepared should include the extended part of your family – your pets.
You should arrange a safe place for your pets in the event of an evacuation. NEVER LEAVE YOUR PETS BEHIND. Any place that is not safe for you – is not safe for your pets.

Flagler Humane Society, with the assistance of Flagler County, open a disaster emergency shelter when there are mandatory evacuations. During a disaster, FHS will not be accepting owned pets for housing.

It is imperative that you have determined where you will bring your pets ahead of time.
